Nari Welye is a results-driven humanitarian leader with a strong academic foundation and progressive experience in project management, gender-based violence prevention, and education.
Currently pursuing an LLM with a research focus on sustainable development, she holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), a BL, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE). Nari’s expertise spans project coordination, grants management, communications, and lecturing, with a focus on promoting gender equality, addressing gender-based violence, and advancing humanitarian assistance.
Throughout her career, she has successfully coordinated projects for renowned organizations such as UNHCR, USAID, UNOCHA, and other donor Countries through IMC, FHI 360, AHNi, and has held high level leadership positions, including the Country Director (pilot phase) role at ChildVoice Nigeria.
Nari is passionate about sustainable development and its intersection with economic law, and humanitarian aid. Her research explores innovative approaches to promoting sustainable development in fragile contexts, with a focus on community-led initiatives and human-centered design through the implementation of laws.
Through her work, she is committed to creating positive change, advancing humanitarian causes and thrilled to contribute to the global conversation on sustainable development and human rights.
